I've been framed....

Just a short update today.  I was told that changes are dramatic and rapid once construction starts and then even though work continues
the changes become less dramatic as the work gets more and more detailed.  That seems to be the case this week as the carpenters have been working in our good weather last week and getting a lot done but it's just not as dramatic as seeing the walls go up or the foundation being poured.

The plywood sheeting is going up around the outside and on some of the inside walls.  There are a couple of large beams that need to go up to support the roof and the garage walls need to go up.  Those things are scheduled over the next few days.

The other milestone that has been reached is the work on the new driveway has started.  That big roll of geotextile fabric that I bought was laid down and they are starting to bring in crushed rock which will be smoothed over the surface and compacted down to eventually become the base for the asphalt.

Here is the geotextile laid out and the first load of crushed gravel being applied.

And the Septic Tanks now in the  correct place.  The tank on the right is the actual septic tank and the one on the left is the pump tank.

And the Septic line from the house to the Septic tank.
