A Far Cry...

The first time I ever set foot on Bufflehead Pond Farm, the farm still believed its name was Abildhøj Farm.  The place utterly charmed me and I fell completely, hopelessly, terminally in love... and I knew that I would be a very lucky girl indeed if ever I were invited to go and live there.

The Shape of things to come


Well now things are really taking shape.  The second floor of the garage has been put in by nature of building the roof supports.  The contractors lifted the last of the interior glulams which are the very thick beams

Friday Jan 11.  Finally some sun here in Western Washington.  Granted it came with chilly temperatures in the low 40's but as long as that sun is out it's not too bad working outside.  All the exterior walls are up, not counting the garage, and most important some of the interior beams which will support the roof are also up and
