Houston we have foundation......

The concrete trucks rolled in last Thursday to pour the foundation walls.  By Friday the concrete was set enough to remove the form boards.  Contractors rent those, I found out,  So all the form boards have been removed and
now we have a solid foundation upon which to build the structure.  Next step is to run footer drains around the perimeter at the bottom of the foundation to carry away any water that might accumulate and otherwise get into the crawl space under the house.  Then the excavator guy will fill in the voids outside the foundation walls and grade the dirt outside the walls to gently slope away from the house.  They will leave about a foot of the foundation wall exposed.

The conduit which will bring the power from underground to the meter.  The meter will be flush mounted and the conduit run in between the exterior wall so the only thing that will show will be the face of the power meter.
